Pristine Reflection

As water reflects a face,
so a man's heart reflects the man.

Preparacion y Fulgor

Yo quiero una oracion,

donde no cese el clamor,

no haya mas frustracion,

la vista este llena de color,

todo en perfecta comunicacion,

cada amanecer sea agradable en olor,

y la mas eterna composicion,

refleje completamente tu esplendor.

Oh! Bella flor del campo del rey,

bella princesa llena de amor celestial,

respiro y te amo,

quiero navegar y batallar contigo,

vivir junto a ti en el vivir de nuestras vidas.

Mi mirada vive junto a ti,

True Love

To the Creator,

The majestic designer!

To the perfect artist it belongs,
and with him it all starts!

- He made the first move -

From the very beginning,
through his relationship with us,
one set up by him,
the expression of true love, his love, was evident!

Lately, it has been in my mind and heart to devote time to pray to God for my future wife.

Through the time I have spent praying (speaking, thinking, and writing) I have experienced moments of relief and total peace. So it is to say, that through the same time of prayer I've had, God has shaped my character. He has reminded me that he is the author of true love, the very sacrificial and merciful love.

God first created us; he created us in his image, in his likeness.
In the image of God he created us.
He...

..."God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." -Genesis 1.28

"Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." - Genesis 2.7

"Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name." - Genesis 2.19

Not only did God make us in his own image, breathing in us his breath of life, giving us life, but also he perfectly placed and provided every single needed thing for us.

TRUE LOVE!

One...not so fast...he also, since we were created to his likeness, allowed us completely to have dominion over every beast of the field and every bird of the sky.

"And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed." - Genesis 2.25

Best Concert

I surfed through the pictures of my sister this afternoon. Two of her pictures made a big impact in my life, allowing me to delight in her photography skills and arousing my mind to deep glowing passionate thinking.

What is the position of the embryo?
Is this position a reflection of religion?
Do we approach things in life with an open mind?
How do we embrace pain?
Are we humble enough?
Do we see with our eyes?
Do we hear with our ears?
Do we reason?
What is obedience?
What notes are to be played in worship?
Is worship obedience?
or
Obedience worship?
How often are we bowed before our Creator?
What does it take to be like Daniel?
What is needed to be bowed in submission and profound adoring awed worship?

I see the need of being aware of...
It takes a battle of the soul...

...Faith in Jesus Christ will bring the reconciliation!

We are persuaded to disobedience by those "lovely" moments,
those charming seductions,
by all our small treasures,
through all possible weaknesses in us.

NO! Hold on.
I am tired.

The door needs to be opened!

I need to let some light enter
Please, make me beautiful once again.

Father, observe the deep ardent desires of my heart!

Open the door you want me to walk through.
Make my heart and mind demand the presence of your Spirit.
Renew me constantly.

Allow me to stop, breathe, admire, and adore you!

Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil,
for you are with me...

...Destitute my sin...
...Reverse...

The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not be in want.

Fun 'n Faith

“As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.”
- Psalm 18:30

7 years ago...so much left in God's hands.
That mirror all blurred,
my dimmed eyes,
breath coming out of my mouth,
hope, hope, and hope, my ardent desire,
vapor condensed to particles of water,
that mirror all blurred,
hope,
the answer in knowing that by God's will is why I breathe.

Yeah, 7 years ago...
The Lord equipped me to fight with a new shield and a new sword!

Hosanna!

I love you, O LORD, my strength.

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.
He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

- Psalm 18. 1-2

What is the expectancy of my everyday?

still today the road gets very steep,
hope, hope, and hope, my ardent desire...

God is faithful to answer, to quickly come to my rescue!

The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
to the blameless you show yourself blameless,

to the pure you show yourself pure,
but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.

You save the humble
but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.

You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light.

With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.

- Psalm 18. 24-29

Entice

Am I allured by you?

Allured to this life experience?

Sometimes it is hard for me to know exactly what to give my attention to...but...the other day a dear friend of mine told me:

"I think we should focus everything on God,
we should get to know him...
...If he is the one we are focusing on,
then sin will go away.

Let's not focus on sin,
on what we can or can't do.
Let's focus on God alone."

My mind needs to be renewed and transformed by the power of God!

Yes, I think my friend is right about it,
the Lord will change and transform us as we get to know him more and more.

Hence, when we reach a new stage in life, we ought to know that the Lord will not bring us to this stage without having changed us completely.

Your Scent

She: "The wind, the wind!
Now, let's do it! It is the perfect wind!"

He: "Pull the string! Let's run!
Let more string go! Excellent!

Suddenly the wind howls,
the clouds look like little marshmallows.

Birds chirp and pass by,
the leaves in the ground take flight in the waves of the wind.

The joyful wind, the wind,
like a wild horse galloping, the wind!

The wind!
You are here, I am there!

We run together,
only the wind connects our strings!

I want the wind to whisper to your ear...
to bring to you a colorful butterfly.

The wind!
I can smell you.

I love you!
I love you!

Our prayers,
lifted up to the Lord as a fragrant perfume!

My eyes look at the sky,
they capture the dance of the trees.

The wind,
a sweet melody!

I remember the taste of that mango,
the wind carries with it all those moments.

The Lord heard our voices,
the Lord moved the clouds and the trees!

...I want the wind ,
each time you see that colorful butterfly,
each time you close your eyes and feel it,
to bring my love to you!

"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith
—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—
may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls." - 1 Peter 1. 6-9

Your Beauty...

...the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit...

I met a woman whose inner self truly reflects beauty.

She possesses a noble character...she fears the Lord, works hard and with vigor, is very submissive, hospitable, serves her family and guests, from her lips come words of wisdom, and loves with genuine love.

God impacted my life through the moments he allowed me to spend with her. I did not only enjoyed each single moment I spent at her side, but also was able to learn very much from her noble character.

Her name perfectly befits with her personality, she is a flower, one very fragrant.

...which is of great worth in God's sight. - 1 Peter 3.4

Cultivate With Care

The inside is what proofs the quality...

Two old folks, memories, the story of a lifetime...

Obedience to God, their best worship,

Faith in him, their light to walk.

The foundation of it all, only love!

Their smile, their peace, their smile!

Only love, eternal love!

Epilogue

Days of rest have gone by. It is nice to be back at home.

A long trip, full of adventures, ups and downs, is in its final stage.

Through the trip and all the experiences I have lived at the side of my friends Kerri, Kari, and Shawn, I was able to grow in patience a lot. Certainly, one of my highlights was having the opportunity to delight in God through spending some time of solitude in front of the ocean, surrounded by beautiful beaches.

The scenery, listening to the waves crash, the smell of fresh coconut, feeling the sand filtering through my hands, and the taste of a cold banana smoothie...moments were recorded in my mind, ones that I will probably never forget.

Talking to my friend Shawn about important matters made me reflect and debrief, as much as I could, about the priceless relationship I have with my Creator.

KEEP DANCIN'

In the rain,
in the midst of thunders,
while the earth shakes underneath you,
as the wind blows with roars,
at the time when mud is all you find to give grip to your steps,
when nothing and no one but God,
God alone,
when in your fear you realize that only he can bring comfort to you,
you need to:

KEEP DANCIN!

KEEP PRAISING HIM!

KEEP PRAYING!

KEEP HAVING FAITH!

What way should I take?
How should I do it?
Where to go?
Why?

To you alone I will yield all control!

Translucent

I am born again!

Your love, the greatest of all.

In you my innocence!

You wash my heart.

I think I know you...you like to close your eyes, write, read, plan, hide, fly, listen...live your life!

Your hands shake, your feet are too quick, your mind flies too fast, you rush, you suffer of amnesia.

At times, you do not resist, you live like an enemy of the cross of Christ.

I am born again!

Your love, the greatest of all.

In you my innocence!

You wash my heart.

Sometimes you remember that in God you can walk until the end, the goal!

You remember that you can hold fast, you can be pure and blameless, you can believe, you can do what's right, you can walk in the light, you can know the truth, you can love!

You give me power through your name!

In you my life lays.

First Notes - First Tones

The first feeling while flying,
the bumpiness,
strong flow of air passing through the mountains,
the airplane moving up and down...

My eyes still,
engaged in taking the best picture,
the best perspective of the majestic mountains.
The second feeling while flying,
awed by the beauty of the scenery!

"Buenas Tardes Senor Mata"...
Words in my natal language,
with a smile, and yet deep serious sight,
welcomed me to the entrance of my homeland.
The third feeling while walking,
the relief of...

...Now, the climax of the whole trip!
The fourth and best feeling of all,
the best ingredient running through my veins,
LOVE!
My eyes spotted two very familiarized faces,
two big smiles, two shinny eyes,
two forever beloved friends that I have been longing to see,
my sisters!

NOTES
is the SAME as TONES!

Same letters, same length.

I have found things in different order...

Much to do in my country, much to help with!

Dancin' & Palette

God has blessed me with very, extremely,
precious friends.

It was tonight...I got words from a very dear friend: Sarah E. Holden
Her words were like the rain that refreshes God's nature,
the rain that brings life to his creation,
the rain that reminds me that God paints life...

"Javi,
Good to hear from you, mi amigo!

I am so sorry to hear about your friend in guate;
I am sure that it must be a process of grief
that will take a lot of time.

I dont know if there are words to say,
but i will be thinking of you
and praying for you in your situation.

I have realized lately
how dependent we truly are on the Lord,
though we sometimes do not realize it.

Sometimes it takes tragedies,
or places where we go
therough the "dark night of the soul"
in order to come to a place
where we feel like we have no hope
only to realize what the hope is that we have--
Jesus Christ and His work on the cross.

I was struggling this semester
with really questioning God
and finding it difficult to believe,
trying to cling to belief,
but having to cry out for help.

I am thankful
that the Lord has brought me out of that place
and I trust
that He will do the same for you..."

...It is God who paints the colors of the flowers.
It is he the one who has painted the colors of the butterflies.
God only knows how to paint a rainbow in the sky!

2 + 2 = 3

At the end of the crazy downhill experience I take a deep breath, close my eyes, flex my hands, get down from my bike, and turn my head to the mountain behind me, to the paths I have conquered at full speed (50, 60, 70, 80... Km/h)... it does not make sense, how did I make it in that curve, through all those rocks, flying while jumping obstacles, how?
Time is your best friend, but also your enemy, when going downhill at full speed. You want to be precise, take your time, and do things step by step. However, you also want to do things in full confidence, without hesitating. No space for hesitation should ever be in your mind.

Here I go + Hesitation = Extreme Fall

Here I go + Trust & Confidence = Extreme Achievement

One more class, two more exams, and a big packing process is what I have pending.

Soon, Lord willing, I will be able to scuba dive, read my Bible while laying in a hammock, mountain bike, drive across countries, run at the side of the ocean, fight huge waves, hug homeless kids and youth, hang out with prisoners, go out for coffee with ex gang members, speed at a 170 - 200 Km/h, drive a manual car, race with my friends, admire my beloved lake, pray at the top of mountains, kiss and hug my sisters, sit down and have deep conversations with my mom, plan stuff with my dad, hike for hours and hours, visit poor people who live in simple, plastic, carton, metal, and wood houses, hiding in the mountains, eat pupusas, jocon, asados y desayunos tipicos, drink rosa de jamaica, pina colada, licuados, go to Antigua with my best friends, zipline, see dolphins, run under rain and thunderstorms, bargain, visit missionary friends, visit my sister at her workplace, take the dogs out,...

...aenigma, ainigmat!

This whole academic year is almost gone. Thank Lord for the strength, for the faith you have empowered me with. The last month or so in my life has been CRAZY; everything seemed to be going smooth, it appeared like I had exactly what I needed, I thought I was okay, comfortable...

...bang, God comes with the the test of faith!

I will forever remember the trees dancing on top of me, while being at their habitat, contemplating the nature, and lifting up my eyes to the sky.

I will forever remember friends in the faith, their listening, prayers, advice, hugs, the hope they shared with me, their challenging questions, confrontation, and priceless love!

The prize, the award!

EVERLASTING GLORY!

Us Who are Mature

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained."

- Philippians 3. 12-16

ALELUYA

Su mas intensa y apasionada sonrisa es el reflejo de un amor puro y eterno!

HALLELUJAH
(English)

She giggles, with joy she expresses the gratitude for the unending love for her!

Halleluja
(German)

Loblied; sie kommt mit freiheit zu das garten; sie singt: "Ich liebe dich"!

The heavens declare the glory of God. The oceans roar. The skies proclaim the work of his hands. The mountains melt like wax. The trees will sing for joy...

From Psalm 96:

"Sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth...

...For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
he is to be feared above all gods...

...Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength....

...Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness;
tremble before him, all the earth...

Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns."...
...Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that is in it;

let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them.
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy;...

...they will sing before the LORD, for he comes,
he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples in his truth.

Trees were dancing today at the rhythm of wind music.
The branches were lifted up to the sky,
dancing and dancing without stopping.

The King and spotless Lamb,
the Lord who reigns in glory,
he orchestrates it all,
he is holy, he is a holy God!

Andante

Music...

The sweet notes of a violin, or the soft melody of a piano capture my heart easily. The best analogy that resembles the particularity of pleasant single tones to my ears is the listening of the rain or waves crashing.

On a summer day, two young children came to their mother, pleading their hunger, asking for food. She was well-prepared. She reached into the carry-bag beside her and handed little boys little wrapped lunches. Grabbing with one hand, they jumped and ran back to play, munching satisfyingly as they went. The mother took her own meal from the bag, and sat, and watched, and smiled.

Across the playground, another rug was spread. Mother scouted around climbing frames and swings, one by one summoning the family to lunch. And they came, father carrying the smallest, the older children happily moving toward the prepared nourishment. And they sat. Stopped awhile. Circled laid-out food, backs to all but one another. Eyes connected. Tongues chattered. It was slow, this simple feast. Joyful in company, in the occasion. When young and older were satisfied, an entire family rose, shook out the rug, and retreated to play together.

Oh, the sweet notes, well played notes, all in perfect harmony, making the master composition!

What reflects our lives? The story of the one family who did not take time to share a meal together? Or the one who in deep care and love, each one at the side of another, chattered in peace and joyfully enjoyed the feast?

Where do I stand when it comes the time to share a meal with Jesus? Where is my focus? What is the force that drives me, the motivation?

I hope my life is not in constant rush. I hope that everyday God teaches me how to stop, refrain myself from the "to do list", give up my preferences, and slow down my pace to be with him.

Yesterday night my friend Anna sent me the link above. I met her in Nicaragua, she is a Nicaraguan. Listening to her life story was one of the highlights of my trip to Nicaragua with STEP 2006.

Anna is a princess of God. She is a woman committed to serve her King. She loves the outcast, and enjoys helping people with everything that the Lord has given to her. She has been an example in my life...through her I have been able to see the true meaning of God's love.

She spent many months serving in my country, Guatemala.

What an honor to fight the good fight with a strong warrior like Anna!
What a privilege to run the race at her side!
To God alone be all glory!

Knock! Knock!

Welcome Home!

NEVER DEFEATED

The memory is there, still very fresh!

On a sunny afternoon my mom came inside home...she run towards me, gave me a warm hug, and said: "I love you Javi...you have been a good boy, I have a surprise for you..." Her hug is still warm, I can feel it even today, hundreds of days after.

I could not resist to see the surprise. After a couple of minutes of intense suspense, long, very long minutes, she brought through the door a shinny blue bike. WOOOHOOO! I wonder how big my eyes got, how shinny they were. A bike was something I had desired for so long. Finally, after having patiently waited for it, at my side I had it, my very first bike. I will never forget the first moments I spent riding it, the love and care I had for my bike. It was my first thing to look after, my priority, and possibly dream. After a while I am sure it dissipated, in the very same way clouds do.

Today, while in solitude, in complete quietness, the thought of the day when I got my first bike came to air...so did the thought of the very day when I gave my life to my Shepherd.
The evening when I gave myself to my Saviour... tears came down from my eyes, complete joy filled my soul and heart, love overflowed my being. God became my first love, all I could think of. My first priority and most ardent desire was to spend all my time knowing him more and more.

I cannot understand the love of God. How is that my first love, the pure, genuine love I had for God when I first met him fades away sometimes? Yet, God's love for me is always perfect, his love is love, love of a father? Yes, indeed, HE IS LOVE!

His love is what I need, without any doubt.

God's love... it is unfailing!

His love...

When I am at the ocean, one of my favorite things to do is to fight huge waves, to go as close as possible to the place where they reach their biggest size and height. Once you get to this point, you have no way to avoid the fight. Either you dive or wrestle against the wave. You cannot avoid getting complete soaked.

...his love waters me, it refreshes me!

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Jesus, I humbly thank you for how you love me.
I praise you, my first love.
Jesus, only your love heals my wounds.
I praise you, my first love.

...

Where is the sense of your presence LORD???

Lord, help me understand!

Why is it that I walk with open eyes, open ears, eager to learn from your instruction...yet, I come away void...nothing seems to move or stir my heart or soul!!

"Te amo" ; "Firme y Adelante"; "Bendiciones"; "No Temas ni Desmayes"

In the silence, at the bench, your leaves wrestle against each other, making a melody that captures my attention. Why, while committed to you alone, it seems like my days fall apart?

Lord, help me live by faith!

I will be with you, I will strengthen you, I will lead you..., I will provide all your needs, I will answer you, I will guide you, I will give you rest, I will prepare a place for you, I will come again.

Office Hours, 24/7 ?

One of my favorite contemporary artists/writers is Henri Nouwen. In his book "In the Name of Jesus", the meaning of love enfolds in the repetition of one question, and especially in the three adjectives used to describe the work of Jesus...being obedient to the death of cross...all this for love, for us to have his grace...

... This rejected, unknown, wounded Jesus simply asked, "Do you love me, do you really love me?" He whose only concern had been to announce the unconditional love of God had only one question to ask, "Do you love me?" - Henri Nouwen

"Love Must Be Tough" -Title of a book by James Dobson... "In our love, God be lifted high." ...this man truly has a passion for couples and families.

I met Mr. Dobson in Arizona. He had a film going on close to the place where I was doing business with some big companies...he asked if I could be part of his film. Then when I showed up to the place where they were shooting, he approached me, joyfully met me, and tried to get to know as much as he could from my background... Later on, during one of the 10-15 min. shooting break, he asked me one question: why are you here?... At the moment I must have answered... I cannot recall what I answered, but later on I remember myself deeply thinking about his question.

Love...loving is not always easy...yet love is the absolute priority.

-Beth Moore "Love is very exposed, and in some ways it is what we're most afraid of... By being called to love, we risk rejection..."

Now, as I have been going through memories, embraces I received...my friend's laugh, his deep sight, moments we shared...

...as I think of the past...broken friendships...the future...big waves on the radar...this question asked by Mr. Dobson came back to my mind.

WHY AM I HERE?...

I feel like writing later...

YOU are feared!

Evermore, regardless of... Psalm 130...all goodness comes from you Lord.

- Out of the depths I cry to you,
O Lord;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.

If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins,
O Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness;
therefore you are feared.

I wait for the Lord, my soul
waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
My soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the
morning,
more than watchmen wait for the
morning.

O Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
He himself will redeem Israel
from all their sins.

Authentic

It sure does look shinny! Layers of colors, almost like a rainbow, make up its inside.

Inside my mind, the thought of assurance found a place where to build up a tent.

Is it real? Or is it just imitation?

Several methods allow one to figure out whether or not a diamond is authentic.

My favorite method is called (at least that is how I like to name it): The Hammer.

I identify myself with hammers. A great part of my childhood...I learned how to use many tools as I would work at the side of my father, helping him with little tasks, nailing here and there, cleaning up the mess...I got to be a boy who learned about carpentry, car motors, construction...I not only played with mud and got myself all dirty, but also played with big tools. Cutting wood; I would eagerly await to hear my dad say: "Javi, I need you to cut this piece for me", especially if it involved using the electric saw.

Now, when having to use the hammer, I would feel powerful, with authority, brave, I would feel like a big boy. A hammer inside my hands would wake up the feeling of having control over the task to perform.

Even if hammers vary in shape and size, its purpose of existence is what really defines them, and not the particular form or its bigness or dimension.

The hammer method is very simple:

Take your "diamond" into a hard surface. Let it be...HIT IT with the hammer.

If the diamond falls apart into pieces you just discovered that what you thought was a diamond is simply now a bunch of shattered glass.

However, if your diamond resists the hit of your hammer, then you are privileged of having with you what truly would be an AUTHENTIC DIAMOND.

I am not sure if I am ready to be hit with a hammer myself.

Would the instance of hitting me at once reveal authenticity? Am I truly an authentic guy?

Am I truly a genuine child of God, who strives, resists, perseveres, and loves?

Honestly, I am not sure if I am ready to be hit with a hammer yet.

CARAT

Seven stones total

Three stones - ONE STONE - Three stones
Seven stones total

...That could be the description, better to say a symbol, a stone, a crystal, representing a glimpse of an eternal journey, an unending dream.

We lived, sometimes in a palace, maybe at times in a simple tent, but we lived at the side of each other. We are here for each other. We will hold our hands forever, remembering always that step by step we grow in love.

A piano solo...it sounds great...but accompanied by an angelic voice sounds perfect. The notes are better believed, and each of the mistakes is covered and perfected in true love. The weaknesses become strengths.

We thought we needed to fill each other's needs, fix each other's problems, change each other's hearts. We now think that each other really needs an empty box, but one full of kisses. We will continue to think that little by little we will find each other's love, and nothing else.

Nothing will ever break the covenant, promised in the sight of God.
GOD IS LOVE - It will ever be sealed in and with love - GOD IS LOVE
Nothing will ever separate us, as we are united in true love.

God is love...

...In tenderness, in loving-kindness, every morning: "Bongiorno Principessa"...

...In selfless care, in joy, every day: "Vamos a bailar, toma mi mano"...

...In love, only and only in love, every instant: "I love you"...

GOD IS LOVE

...carat? 1? 2? 7? 70?...

GOD IS LOVE!

Yo Estare Contigo

El sentir de tu paz,
el saber que tu cuidas y guardas mis pasos,
tu amor vivido a diario,
abre mis ojos,
penetra mi alma,
y me permite reconocer
que solo tu eres mi mas ardiente anhelo...

Noy hay truenos que me atormenten,

Mi espada permanece en alto,
afilada, firme y dentro de mis manos,
dos llenas de coraje,
fuerza...

Mi corazon siente tu presencia,

...Tu me rodeas en la batalla,
permaneces fiel,
eres mi escudo, mi muralla;
tu majestad, tu fuego,
permanezco debajo de tus alas
mi DIOS,
TU, mi escudo, mi refugio!

Leon de Juda,

...Oro a ti,
entrego todo mi ser
a mi Dios,
quien en majestad reina!

TU VIVES!

From the One I Love

The memories...the memories...

I pray that God allows me one day to marry a woman that in love gives herself to the hurt and broken who live daily in search of hope and in search of heal.

Love can bring...coming from God's grace only. Only he can clean a broken and dirty heart.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=kxrRqZKYu54

This song, amongst few others, has left a mark in my life. The lyrics are very powerful. It is a song from the band that used to play... Pax 217 - What is Love (title of the song)

Hey kid what are you lookin' at
How did you get so evil so fast

Where's your mom, where's your dad
What did they teach you
Did they touch you

I can't believe this happened to you
I promise it's not supposed to be this way
But you have no right to repeat the same
She's not yours this ain't a game

Step back watch where your hands go
They might come back to haunt you
It might do you good to cut 'em off
Better that than to rip her off

You're a thief, an abomination
Lucky for you I'm no assassin
I love her, you distorted her view
God help me not to distort you

So let's just say that your blessed
Blessed that I never met you

Hey you, son of a preacher man
I got some words for you
Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near
You stole somethin' that you can't give back
From the one I love

And now she's forced to pray daily
To fight against your flashbacks

So let's just say that your blessed
Blessed that I never met you

chorus: Hey you, you better take your eyes off of her
Your eyes are evil so look away
I'm warnin' you there'll be hell to pay, hell to pay (2 x)

Little girl don't you cry
This boy can't steal what's inside
Let my Father hold you up
Heal the thoughts that make you throw up

I know this life has been hard on you
But the next will never end

Only thing I know to do
Is to ask my Father to heal you
No soap will ever scrub away
The memories, the memories

(No soap will never scrub away (3 x) the memories, the memories)
CHORUS (No soap will never scrub away (3 x) the memories, the memories)

I'm sorry, sorry little girl, don't you cry

You're beautiful beautiful beautiful

I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU

"Father, healer, won't you hear us,

show what's your mercy forever"

I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU

WATERED BY YOU

A kite of its own shape…

How fun those days when I used to build kites, playing with the glue would always become part of the whole building process, throwing paint to each other as well…I miss the singing, staring at the clouds, trying to find shapes while watching our kites rise up.

…it rises up in the air because of its design, pushed by the force of the air, an upward force. Two things are important to understand. First, the air travels in two directions, creating a circulation that will keep the kite floating. Second, the air traveling above the kite goes faster than the air below it. The result in the difference of the speed is exactly what creates the upward force. If the best case, the kite finds itself trapped in one direction, only having the chance to keep on going up…up it goes! A good kite pilot knows that lots of string is needed, and that timing to release the string is important.

“It is not about what we do, you know, but about what the Lord does in us, you know”
– One of my friends said those words to me. I got out of the gym after everyone else had left. It was raining, and my friend and I came across each other…we talked for a good while, standing in front of each other, talking like buddies, man to man, looking at each other’s eyes. The rain…far away in the distance, above the roof and exactly at the right of the cross of the chapel, I could see the reflection of the rain coming down, going in all the directions with the dancing of the wind, I could see many trees getting wet.

It was right in…such impetus…my eyes switched direction, lifted up now to the cross above the roof of the chapel.

My friend said words I will keep with me; he said words that I need daily in my life...

I have been thinking lately about the joy inside Jodie Gazan when she worships the LORD. As I was playing the drums yesterday I could contemplate each of the singers and players. The joy inside this woman as she worships her KING is unique. How encouraging to see the joy deep inside her. It reminded me of the hope we cling to, of the LORD we trust in, the FATHER who holds us, who cares and loves us.

...Looking at the cross tonight reminded me of Jesus, my SAVIOUR.

He died for me.

By grace there I go in life.

Search deep in my heart LORD. I look to you. Put in me full joy to worship you in the fullness of my being, that which belongs to you.

The Art of Life

Countin' down the days... 43 left

She used to run with me. We would hide together behind trees. She would speak, I would listen as she spoke to me. We would cross rivers together, jumping on top of rocks. She used to smile at me. We would run in fields covered with flowers, fields that looked like rainbows. She would trust me as we explored together. She... we would push each other on the swing...

...Oh, my dear friend, where are you? Are you still throwing balloons full of water? Do you still hide inside piles of grass? Will I get to listen again to you whispering your secrets to my ear?

Jesus prayed one day... "I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."
J. 17.26

One day... in a blinking of an eye, the fullness of such love would make perfect sense to me.

Such love that comes directly from the one who created and at the same time redeemed me.

Here with you. Draw me please, through each day to see your beauty LORD, to know you in full intimacy.

My LORD! Your love is infinite.

LOVE

Life
changes
Love does not dominate

Leaves fly away
Love CULTIVATES

La is just another note
Love fills out the heart and soul

Left is nothing more than a direction
Love has no limits, knows no boundaries

Living requires air, food, and water
Love does not demand

Lithium is the lightest metal known
Love cannot be fathomed

Large exceeds in quantity and size
Love goes beyond expectations

Lavage helps to fade away dirtiness
Love FORGIVES

Looking lets you be certain
Love TRUSTS

Loudness attracts your attention
Love speaks in quietness

Loop is a shape
Love has no condition

Lacking the necessities of life brings worry
Love always HOPES

Landscapes represent a scene, a moment
Love PERSEVERES

Ladders climb levels
Love is all already!

She Touched the Little Box

A blur of hope.

Between the 7am sunrise, the sunset around 7:14pm

Cures all things, the holding to a faith unvarnished.

Diadems adorn our bedrock.

Eager we stand to learn from the light that enlightens our eyes.

Farther from our sight's perimeter we vaguely see the overflowing cup.

Gorgeous gems mark the paths of our already taken steps; gems mark the paths to take.

Help, LORD, help from you in every audible or soundless tick.

It is the best time with your peace for us to sleep in.

Jag our selfishness, our pride, our corruption, our loveless behavior.

Keep the joy inside us as we much reflect in the works of your hands.

Love, impress your love in us, oh LORD!

My heart, by day and night; we give our hearts to you.

No need of ice water in the dry valley for us.

Only for a little while longer, love will never lack, we have your love.

Pours down, your grace does in us, from the highest of the mountain to the bottom of it.

Qui vive; you dwell in us, we can freely admire the passing of the light.

Revival inside our veins, through your blood.

Silence might be the best healer.

They had nothing to say to each other as they listened to the captain.

Unseen for us means seen to you.

Vert you prepare for deer, green pastures is where you make us lie.

We once dreamed about... now we hope in you together.

X-ray our souls, examine and search within us Father, remove all stains.

You, teach us our master, teach us how to live to die and die to live.

Zig lost Zag...our hope we see now, it reminds us that we are by your grace.
