I was born in 1770
When I was 2 years old I knew my ABC
At the age of I would daresay 4 I discovered that music moved my soul
An excessive life of letters was my world around when I was 7
At 10, without a doubt in my mind, I began to travel around
I replaced my sire when I turned 13
I was 17 when my best friend died
A world of honourable admirers became my paint of life when I was 18
At 21 I am disgusted at the best loving dance
but still
I want to throw myself to the greatest love of all
and I behold the thought and feeling:
