Waking with no Face

Since I don't know you,

each morning,

through the golden wind,

underneath the waves of a covered thought,

when my words rise,

you will walk away,

like I do.

I myself

run faster than the monster of the sea.

I will sing!

I will sing!

I will sing!

You will
watch
water
and guard it
day and night!

I will come,

you will walk away,

but you will stand on the mountain,

and you will make me feel alive.

You will walk away,

You will walk away.
